There are many people who are bedridden in their homes and do not receive proper medical care for various reasons. Some of them are living in very pitiable conditions. Their suffering can be mitigated if they are able to receive proper medical care. With this in mind Tharangam has initiated this project. The Home care team is lead by the Director of Tharangam and a group of retired medical professionals. If the services of doctor are required then one of the volunteer doctors will visit the patient. In most cases medicine and dietary supplements are provided to the patient. Medicines are purchased at request of senior citizens who cannot travel and delivered to them
