Souhrudham

As soon as the lockdown was announced our Diocesan Bishop, Thomas Mar Timotheos Thirumeni gave us the direction to initiate the Souhrudham project for reaching out to the needy people in the community. Initially as the number of Covid19 positive cases was on the increase all our efforts were to focussed in transporting the sick to the different hospitals, assisting in the funeral, delivering food, medicines and provisions to the Covid19 patients, providing refreshments to the law enforcement personnel and so on.

Another big crisis that the people faced was the lack of resources to buy provisions. During the lockdown period provision and Vegetable kits were handed to more than a thousand families through this project.
